hdc3 10s arent T line friendly CSCstang tried one and its a bust. Ported did a lot better in every way possible SQ and SPL. You might want to try 6th order with HDC3s and HDC4s instead.

How about dual reflex? I wanted to try a tline because I read that proper tlines offer great sq and I don't want to go sealed because I want as much ouTout as I can get with it sounding clean. Do they do well in 6th orders?

For this particular sub, you can do an SQ oriented 6th order or an Aperiodic Bi Chamber aka ABC box but those are quite advanced. An SQ oriented ported can work as well man. Just need some EQ action going on so you can control some peaks you might run into.

How might I do a sq ported? I've heard of tuning like 25> can yield a nice flat response but be pretty quiet. I have 2 of them but not sure what my choices are.. For space reasons I considered doing an external square port but I hear they're not easy to make

Also I have no access to an rta. Only shop within my area isn't anything special

I just moved out here a month ago. And that surprises me, I haven't seen anyone over 12 and under 50 since I got here.

just medium airspace medium port area and 32-34hz tuning should suffice for now. 3 cubes net 14 port per cube for the two.

Is that vented? Or aero? I'm going to try building a new one within the next week or so. Could I still do 14/cube if I make two separate chambers @ 1.5 net?
