yeah a cyclone engine is turbocharged V6 what's your point. don't go dissin my engine just b/c it can spank about every car i come up to in a 1/4 mile race hell a ton of cars in top end i can spank too. that's in a 4 door SUV. oh and about not wanting to be there when the cops showed up, your right i didn't want to be there b/c i was already going to be late for the Tool concert i was going to in Dallas thank you very much. my friend did however call the cops.

I would never shoot over a 75 shot of Nitros into an engine 1.8L or less. Unless you have it seriously prepped your only going to damage it beyond use. Now i personally know people that have had ZEX Nitrous (25-55 shot) kits on their car for a solid year w/ 120,000 on the engine and it handles it fine only swapping out the fuel rails. But not every Import that has NoS in it has some idiot pushing a 1.5L with a 150 Shot of NoS. There very well may be some out there, but not all. IMO these are ricers, no need to diss everyone who likes imports cause of the abuse others put on their cars... hell i know people w/ domestics that do sum pretty dumb shyt to them as well... altezzas and Combat VR kits on a V6 Mustang????? And they make fun of ricers???? lol

Oh ok so you think a Mazda RX-7 could'nt take a 75 hp shot? Its a 1.8 i mean it is even rotary powered i mean come on dude i dunno how you prep nos but the only 1.8 that cant take 75hp is crappy *** civics. I mean i dont want to piss civic owners off but i mean come on this shit is gettin outta hand I hate stupid *** kids who do this too thier car and think they are fast hell I was out cruzin with the wife and i cant go out in my stang without some lil punk pullin up wantin to race casue they think they are fast just casue they have nos when they arent. I mean I have a ricer type car but it inst riced out it basically looks stock but is very modified under the hood sorry i just hate all that tasteless wing and sticker shit. I love it when people with cars that cost twice as much as mine have a look on thier face of grief when they are left in the dust I mean 450 horses of nos free power is thanks too about every mod you can find under the hood but well worth it to see RX-7s and supras and 300zxs wondering wtf just happened.

the angle or rotary nature of the motor doesn't add to it ability to handle power. It is the tensile strength and metallurgy of the reciprocating parts & cylinder wall strength that determines the ability to handle any amount of power no matter the method of generating it. reciprocating engines are at a huge disadvantage because of the inertia created by the parts.

well my RX-7 had NOS in it, but it wasn't just nos, i had upgraded turbos, suspension, body kit, full exhaust, new engine everything under the hood you could imagine considering the 17000 i spent on that baby. now i put out around 500+ rear wheel hp according to dyno so i was happy. then i wrecked it and was a lil pissed but oh well. it could spank pretty much anything i can across.

I dont think i ever said since its rotary powered that its more durable under NOS conditions which it is casue the parts in it are way better than others and could take a 75hp shot all day along with many other cars. But the engines and the turbos dont last long in the cars casue the turbos heat up so much casues you to have to rebuild and replace the engine in them more than needed too. My friend has did it twice in just 100,000 miles he bought it new and did it the first 60k and at a 100k had too agian and boy was it expensive as hell. But they can handle NOS is is all I am sayin and dont have to prep them never said that they were the best engine to put nos in pr anything but most cars should be able to handle a 75hp shot hell even a 100 for that matter. But yea the motors in them are very weak as well as the turbos. The crazy thing is rich people are going out and buyin these cars for thier kids and they are crashin them left and right so you see less and less all the time of the RX-7s really kinda pisses me off casue i cant find one in good cond for under 15gs.

hey guy this is my opinion..I don't care if it's a v8 v6 or 4cyl...the only thing that matters is times...We all know that any sized engine tuned properly and taken care of($$$) can push the 9-10 sec mark.. I don't see why ppl fight over the sizes...I live the classics(v8) the imports and I even like my domestic v-6. its all in perspective.

I said personally that i would never put more then a 75 shot to a motor 1.8 or less! I would rather have constant power and turbo it up. And FYI Civics can take NoS just fine, and i was saying in regards to the idiots that blow their cylinders due to lack of prepwork done to the engine. Take a stock RX-7, throw a 150 shot of nos on there and see how long u last!!!!

and for everyone that sits and disses on imports and little kids reving up on them in their POS CX's. . . you need to realize that their are just as many ignorant MFers out there in their mustang LX's, Camero RS's and Pontiac SunBird's that have the same stupid mentality. . . Also why is there this misconception that it costs twice as much to make an import fast as it does a Mustang?

Thats Roughly 8,549.00 If you pay retail for everything. Most people I know that have domestics has at least 12,000 or more into their domestic. Hell, alot people have more then 8 G's into their systems alone!

well i havent been here to defend myself... but this is how it goes... an 8 or 9 second euro is awesome.. if you can milk a 4 banger for these times i will be more than happy to take my hat off to you.. but my truck is completely street LEGAL.. i can drive this ***** to work.. im willing to place quite a bit of money that the really fast euros are not even close to legal... you've also got the fact that i can still run regular *(although high octane)* fuel and i have NO stearing problems.. or breaking.

yeah.. if you can tune well.. do that shit.. but all im saying is that in REALITY... i own all over most.. mind you i said most.. cars.. i could probably take drag-setup euros... lets not even get into the REAL drag cars.. cuz a quick 6 second quarter would NEVER be seen even by the 900 hp eclipse i saw the other day...

oh..and for whoever was talking shit about an auto.. sorry dude.. im HANDICAPPED and cant shift like everyone else...

I agree, to me, speed is speed, regardless of the car ur driving, a dodge neon, or a skyline....speed is speed, sure some guys O D on some mods, but if thats what they want, let them be....i find it just plain amusing.....i drive a 89 cutlass supreme....my car isn't fast, but its fast enuff to whoop civics, and i LOVE how people with civics drive there car thinking the world of it......I'm not gonna lie, i honestly hate civics, around my way( and i kno it happens everywhere) people buy a civic, put an air intake, and an oversized muffler, and they believe there cars are the SHIZZ, I just hate that....
