Thats a funny story, i seriously doubt it was REAL type R, i mean if you didnt know that integras came stock w/o turbo im sure that your not able to destinct a JDM from USDM integra... but it just goes to show... if your going to throw shyt on ur car regardless of what it is, prep the engine correctly!!!!!!! ive seen it happen to Domestics before as well, so its not all so surprising that it could happen to a 4-banger. . .

It was real...it had the ugly *** black rims and it was yellow and all the ricers were going crazy...

Well i cant understand anyone paying the money to have a Type R integra imported from japan when there are RSX's out there now-a-days for probably a little over half of what he paid for that Teggy. . . it more less just sounds like he pushed too big of a shot into it and it wasnt prepped for it.

Think thats bad my friends manifold in his 1990 300zx TT shot off the block somehow have no clue how think it was the backpressure of the NOS had a huge shot goin where thinkin and it went threw his hood and landed on his windshield and was a good thing didnt hit him he was doin around 160 at that time lol. But NOS is very Dangerous if not used properly.

If that car used turbos, super chargers OR high compression the SAME thing would have happened. As it is the POWER that is destroying the motor NOT the nitrous ALSO intake backfires can happen to ALL high high performance motors. some kid here has a turbo charged supra prolly 8 yrs old or so its an older body style he has a few add-ons on it and i tell you what his best friend has a cobra mustang and it is real close.. if they both dont muff up on anything whoever gets the holeshot wins by about a fender..that supra cost him 4500 with an additional 4k in the motor.....lot cheaper than the cobra..but requires up keep both have advantages

i think it basically comes down to people having a false idea that Power cant be acheived from a 4-cylinder. I know Some domestics are fast. But a little civic that can run low 13's and below isnt exactly a slow car!!!!!

I would never shoot over a 75 shot of Nitros into an engine 1.8L or less. Unless you have it seriously prepped your only going to damage it beyond use. Now i personally know people that have had ZEX Nitrous (25-55 shot) kits on their car for a solid year w/ 120,000 on the engine and it handles it fine only swapping out the fuel rails. But not every Import that has NoS in it has some idiot pushing a 1.5L with a 150 Shot of NoS. There very well may be some out there, but not all. IMO these are ricers, no need to diss everyone who likes imports cause of the abuse others put on their cars... hell i know people w/ domestics that do sum pretty dumb shyt to them as well... altezzas and Combat VR kits on a V6 Mustang????? And they make fun of ricers???? lol

i think that a cyclone was a twin-turbocharged 6 cyl. that makes a big *** diference.

would you call someone running a 1300 HP skyline a ricer, or just Faster than you?

I didnt diss V6's i dissed V6 Mustangs. . . . MY Civic DX only has an Intake and i eat these cars up for lunch... sorry but thats pathetic, cause my shits only a 1.5L until the engine swap

1300 hp Skyline??? How about a 1248 hp Saleen Mustang that was for sale in the Mustang Book, (ya know, Mustang and Ford Trader) I would take it over a 1300 hp Skyline anyday...

I think that he HP your getting is at the crank. I know for sure that the measurement of the skyline is @ the wheels. so take about 30 % of the HP from the mustang and that is what you got @ the wheels.

plus the skyline is actually streetable. i don't even think that they even used NOS to get the HP. it's all turbo baby.

you can't touch a skyline w/ a 10 foot pole. RB26DETT is THE best motor ever produced in my mind. Where else can you get 500 hp per liter on pump gas?

The Mustang had no NOS...Skyline HP is not fully registered if I am correct...hasn't there been a debate about the actual hp???

are you talking about the HKS skyline (1300HP), the JUN skyline(1100-1200HP) the Blitz skyline..... i could go on.. but inform me which skyline you are talking about please.
