Follow up to the kids trying to break in my house thread

Wow, mom and dad beatin the kids around, smacking them, and talkin shit right in front of them. I cant imagine why they (the kids) have taken to doing the wrong things in their lives. Stupid parents. maybe if they spent some time with their kids and help them to experience the right things in life they would be better off. I was treated pretty bad as a kid hit, punched and smacked around. I grew up in and out of trouble and finally met my wife and found a reason to act right, my daughter. And she is a great kid and we didnt have to beat her up to make her that way! Its all about the parents.

i rarley spank my kids but if they got caught breaking into someone's house...i'd lump their *** up quick.

I understand what you are trying to say, but there are times when an asskicking is quite necessary for the little ones.

I definatly agree but maybe they wouldnt be breakin into your home if they were raised right. There is a difference between spanking and beating and I went through some beating that my daughter will never see. But yes kids do need to be put in check every now and then!

So about 20 minutes ago, my wife and i are eating dinner and the doorbell rings. I go answer it and there are the 2 kids who tried to break in my house along with mom and dad. Turns out they were brothers. Anyways one of them starts telling that he's sorry and all of sudden "Whack" mom hits the other one up side his head, and he starts crying. Then dad goes on to tell me that he's ashamed to be their father and that he thought he taught them better than that etc, etc. Then mom starts in telling me how she beat the living shit out of both of them and that i will never have to worry about either one of them coming around my crib ever again. She then gave me her phone number and told me if i ever even see these kids again to call her or her husband and she'll kill both of 'em. By this time i can't help but to be smiling as both of the kids are in tears now.
Big time gangsta's.....pwn't by mom and dad. Then dad tells me that they didn't come over to try to talk me out of pressing charges. Then goes on to tell me how they are pressing unrulyness charges against their own kids and whatnot and that most likely they will be working at the recycling center and washing fire trucks for a long time.

im ashamed of you b/c not only did you not get a pic the night it happened but you didnt get a pic when they were standing at your door. lol. but that story makes me think about the movie "school for scoundrels" where they stole his shoes and he went to get them back and the "gangstas" mom got pissed and kept smacking him. lmao. good story tho.

Agree on getting the pic. I would of been like ill forgive them if i get to do 1 thing. brb...then run and get ur camera and be like "say cheese assholes"

and instead of just writing pwnt on the pic write something to do with the whole priceless slogo. Damages caused breaking into a house - $250 , Parents making them applogize while slappin them around with them crying - priceless! lol

I disagree strongly here.

While parents are more than likely the first and most important to rub off on their children there are SEVERAL other factors. Schooling, friends, and hell even genes. I've hung out with kids with highly religious and respectful parents to parents who beat their kids for almost no reason. While you may expect the proper and respectful parents to have the straight A well behaved kids it isn't always the outcome.

Those parents did the best thing they could in a situation like this.

I have great parents. I wasn't abused or neglected ~ ever. But had I pulled some incredibly stupid stunt like trying to steal someone's A/C or break in their house? You'd better believe (a) They'd have beat my arse repeatedly (b) I wouldn't have heard the end of it for quite some time to follow - and © I am certain that I would have had the same thing happen...I'd have had to go to the home that I tried to burgle and apologize to the homeowner all the while with Mom&Dad saying things very much akin to what bones posted about his little experience.

I do give the parents credit for confronting you though.

"Confronting" him? I would say that isn't at all what happened. Had they been trying to convince bones not to pursue the charges these two geniuses now have pending then maybe it could have been considered a confrontation of some kind but being all embarassed that their kids are wannabe thugs along with making certain bones knows that they'll be paying for it in various ways far into the foreseeable future? Not a confrontation...

Just wondering who are you to say they weren't raised right? Do you know the kids? Do you know their parents? I'd say the parents making the kids confront him and apologize say a lot for their character and I would assume that the kids grew up in a strict enviroment where the parents tried to make them as responsible as possible.

Don't go assuming that their parents are to blame because they ****ed up. After age 9 kids pretty much have a mind of their own. Only thing parents can do is TRY to keep them on the right path.

there def is a difference between a disciplinary spanking and getting abused like you were. best thing my parents ever did was give me a good *** kicking every now and then. sure did keep me out of trouble. i thought twice before i did anything wrong!!!
