Focal subs

Any size in any box... Just generalized how do they compare to other high end subs? Fi q's? L7's? W7? Mag 15?

Is Focal probably one of the best out there? Or what. I know virtually nothing of their subs.

But I know their componants are the shit..

They are up there if ur saying considering higher end subs, they sound really good but would probably lack in output. The L7 would not even be in the same category as the rest since its more SPL oriented.

They have really good sound quality, of course they can get pretty loud too, but it's more aimed toward quality yes.

Have any idea where to buy them?

Because I want something loud, but its gotta have a nice clean hit. I was going for a l7 but I decided they are too much spl.. But I didnt know they were sole spl.

I thought about a W7 but thats too much $$$

And I want the sub to be bigger then a 12. So thats why I was looking at the 13 or 16 focal..

going for $375 shipped, saving a lotta money that way. Than power it with a Bxi1606D or something since u only have $225 to get an amp. Than u should be set since ur building ur own box.

but im only scoping things out right now. going through my options..

Because my 16 and because my grades dopped below a 3.0 my dad took away my insurance. And he wont let me buy anything for my car till I bring my grades up.

Ill keep that in mind though. But ive gone from two inifinite perfect 10''s, to two cvr 15s, to a single cvr 15 to an l7 to a w7 and now to something focal. Then on to the mag 15.

Hope u get money soon, cuse the 15" mag is $500 without that group buy. There's alot other stuff u can look into. I personally like the Image Dynamics IDMax. Its a really great sounding sub.

Focal doesnt sell online, have to go through a local shop.

my friend has 2 13in vocal v1's in about a 5 cube box tuned to 34hz

did a 140.1 on the TL, but they sound REALLLYYYYYY **** good
