what do you guys think about 2 13" focal polyglass1s?
i went ahead and bought them and got a custom box with it.

their loud as hell and clean as hell.. but i dont know anything about them.

anyone have any comments?

I compete with a 33v2 Polyglass 13" dual 2ohm vc, with an Audison LRx1.400 running at 1ohm. Love the sound of mine. I wouldn't say loud as hell, but they can get pretty loud and sound **** good doing it. I just purchased some Utopia Be 8's that I will be replacing this sub with. Trying to stay more sq than loud now.

Enjoy these subs, you will no doubt have the cleanest loud system around.

that rms rating was the 2005 and past models. I think the 2006 ratings are like 2000?

Focal has their 18's now. Ask Forbidden on here about them as he is putting in a pair in a Jeep Comander right now.

You won't get much cleaner sound than Focals. When I had 2 Focal 40A, their 15" Entry level subs, in the bed of my truck ported into the cab, with lots of loss I think I hit about a 140 on the meter at Finals. I lost quite a bit since between the box and blow through wasn't connected. The bed rattled a lot. They will sound superb and make you happy, those subs can take a lot of power. Give them what they want and they will make you happy.
