Focal speakers

Hey guys I have a Audi A3 and I am going to put focal 165kfs in the front with a jl 10w6 sub. But I need help on deciding what to have for the rear fill? I want to stick will focal but I am not sure what goes well. Thanks for any help!

imo those focals ****. I listened to them idk but the tweets were very very harsh with a lack of mid. I would run these speakers

whats your price range? im assuming not a low budget since your considering focal.

those focal are like $340 online vs these image dynamics which are $165

If you want cheaper, I would pick up the phoneix gold rsd

I just went to a car audio dealer and this is what they suggested tell me what you guys think. The focals will not fit in my car so I have to go another route.

Front - CDT HD62IM

Rear - CDT CL 6.25x

Amps- Memphis 16 mc 4.50, 16mc1.500

Sub- - Image Dynamics IDQv3

What do you guys think?

they actually charge almost exactly what wooferetc.com charges it is about 1300 before the install

Is that a typo? Woofersetc has the 165 KF for $299 (I don't see a "KFS").

I've not heard that model, but I like every other focal speaker I've heard. Very good brand. Shop around, also look at Dynaudio and Morel.

Make sure to give them good power, like one of the Sundown amps above. Anyone who would power those speakers off the H/U should have his hands stapled to his face.

Make the focals fit with spacers and custom mounts. I have CDT's. They are good, but the focals are in a higher class with Dynaudio's and Morels. Spend your money on good front components and good install to make them fit. Skip the rear fill.
