No, Only shops around here sell jl, alpine, kicker. I want speakers that are going to sound great where most of those brands are either overpriced (JL) or made to get loud (kicker) and i just dont liek alpine.

I like them both and think theyre both awesome!! but I think both MB and Focal are really different, I think it would depend on what your ears like better, but unfortunately you can't listen to any //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Its a tough decision...

High End MBQ as in QSD's compared to Focal Access...

I would go with the QSDs.. just need to tune them right

Id prolly consider even the PCEs over the Access line as well

Focal 165 V3E for a bit more and I think you will be very happy with the purchase.

My dad put in some mb quart speakers rated at 100 and 120 rms and hes putting 85w rms on a Hifonics amp and they get really loud. I noticed lower end focals in my price range would be about 60 w rms would they still get loud and sound good or just sq?

I've heard several high end sets and Focal has still been a favorite of mine though JBL recently is definitely stepping up to the plate from what I hear. I haven't had a chance to listen to their newest set of high end, but I've been told about equal (yet different) to Focal. I would still go with the Focal, but that is just my personal preference. You might want to try and go to a Tweeter as I think they carry both brands that way you can listen to them on the board with a few of your cds to see which respond best.
