focal polyglass 27v2 sub

Hey guys, i plan to buy one focal polyglass 27v2 and power it with a DLS a6; giving the sub approx. 870 wrms @ 2 ohms. I'm just a little apprehensive on giving the sub that amount of power because its max/peak rms is only 600 watts. WIll the sub be able to handle that power?

It will be placed in a sealed enclosure (focal specs). Also, will this sub get loud; at least to be heard outside the car while still putting superb SQ and control? I know focal subs are great SQ subs, but i hope it will also be heard from outside the car.
