Focal Polyflex 6.5 or RE series comps

Hi !

i am down to these two speakers for my front stage. they will be powered by Alpine 100 watt rms each please help deciding. Also my acura doors don't allow so much space would these speaker fit easily by Professional insataller.

what size are your stock speakers? if they are the same size (6.5) you can make some mdf spacers and they should fit.

i would lean towards the focals but that is just me. i have heard the re comps and wasnt overly impressed with them, but then again i didnt get to really play with them. the focals i know for sure what they sound like.

the polyflex line is a little dated nowdays, but still a great set. Polyglass is better.

I am not all that impressed with my RE Comps. Tweeters drown out the mids and the mids dont get that loud to begin with. Cant take that much power either. My Infinity Kappa 4x6 plates took more power than these.

are you 100% sure that everything is in phase?
