focal or pg rsd?

i can buy some Focal 165 A1 6.5 Components or the Phoenix Gold rsds that everyone has been raving about for around the same price. Ive heard the Focals, and for a few bucks more, I would get the Polyglass comps instead, the 165 v1s, I think its really worth teh extra bucks and Focal makes a great sounding speaker!!

Imo the only good focals are the k2p and above. The rest arent even worth looking at.. I have found all focal speakers to lack midbass, and have harsh highs, but they can somewhat be tamed with a decent eq. thats just my opinion though..

But thats the thing with speakers, its all personal preference! One speaker may sound good to one guy but not the other, thats why ppl who are asking for speaker suggestions should try and listen to as many as possible to see what their ears like!
