so this kid says he just got a new car, new to him anyway, and they came with the car, so he didnt pay 300 for the speakers, so any reasonable price range to offer him?

If you can get them brand new for $300 i would give him $150-$200 since they will probably be with no warranty. Focal speakers are really nice sounding.
