Focal 165 V2 Slims???

I've been checking out Focal 6.5 comps for the doors of my 99 Tacoma. I wanted the 165 V2's...but they won't fit w/o mods (too deep). I see they have the Focal 165V Slim's which only require about 2 inches to mount. Has anyone heard these or had any experience with them?

If the slim series sounds like the regular polyglass set, they are a very nice sounding component set.

I'm hoping to hear some positive feedback. They are the V2 Polyglass series.

w/o mods or pods....they might be my only solution if I want a quality set up in my doors.

The Morel Dotechs are pretty shallow and IMO they sound alot better than my focal polyglass 6.5s did.
