well my fm transmitter works great..No static or anything, prob cause its hardwired . I have to manually turn on my transmmitter everytime i turn on the car..Yes it hard wired and turns on/off but i still have to turn it on 1 more time to get to the fm tuner.Anyways. I want a fm modulator to go inline with the antenna so i can subtract a step. And its presently hidden (armrest) so i have to open it everytime i want to listen to my mp3's

Anyways, I want a fm modulator to go inline with the antenna.

My question is alot of them come with a toggle switch so you can turn it off and on..Is that for the people that dont know how to tap into a switched 12v source?
