Flooded vehicles...your thoughts

i sold my flooded 1998 van for $400 with 140k+ miles, so dont pay more then $300 for that car

otherwise if it was off when it was flooded, you just have to let it dry, check engine, intake, drain exhaust and hope it works.

 
even if it ran after drying out there will be problems soon as wire rot sets in and corrosion sets in there will be many more problems, my parents live a few miles from me in a flood prone area and they have had 4 cars flooded and none have come back working correct hell I drove mine through deep water by there place and had starter issues for a good week!

 
One of my buddies was driving his girls malibu and there was a puddle on this back alleyway, well he floored it, sucked water into the motor, and it needs a motor.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
