Flooded vehicles...your thoughts

I have a chance to buy a 1998 prelude with 148k for pretty cheap. The car was parked and the street that it was parked on got flooded. Water came up all the way to the windows. It won't start now. What are your thoughts on buying a flooded car. I'm sure title is still clear as it just happened over the weekend. What should I be worried about long term and short term?

for 3-500 it would be worth while if the car is mint.. you can sell bumpers panels doors etc..

I've seen a Saturn 4-door get flooded over its roof, then the owner let it dry out and drove it off...made me lol.

Most flooded cars will have electrical issue. If it flooded up to the air intake then you have water in the motor. A flooded car is a can of worms. I wouldnt let him give me that car.
