Flip out screen in front of AC/Heater vents?

Will a flip out screen that flips out right in front of my vents damage it? I don't know if cold/hot air blowing on the back of the screen would be good for it. Thanks guys.

I have a flip-out screen and it goes right in front of my vents. I usually close the vents or point them straight up when I'm blowing hot air. I doubt cold air would hurt it though (the back of the screen tends to get a tad warm).
