Flip out dvd Nissan Frontier help!!!

Has anyone had any problems with a flip out dvd player in a Nissan Frontier, I want to get one but it doesn't look like it will fit, I mean it will fit in the dash but I'm worried about when the monitor flips out it looks like the shifter would get in the way when its in drive. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
