built this for my 4hp under justins suggestion, and even though the 4hp works well in mall enclosures, its still too small.

its still gets the sub loud, but i knwo it has more potential, so this box needs a good home. the cut out if for an 18, but i have another piece with a 15 cutout that could go on top of that easily, in fact you could easily make this for any sub size with a jig saw or router and a little bit of wood. this box would be better suited for another sub as i get back to the conceptionn plans for my next box.

irc it's 17 high, 23 wide, 22 deep (inches guys)

ports on the bottom, there's about 11 inches of mounting depth, even has a snazy little amp rack that fits my large foot printed kx 2500.1. could use some paint or carpet. box is sturdy as hell and built real solid, no leaks, had the sub mounted in it for a week, subs only been mounted in it once...the baffle board for the 15 hasnt had any mounts on it.

18" 4hp? doing a 139 playing music in the wifes car with a 12" 4hp off a PG xenon 600.1 oxycotton by lil whyte. good stuff. the song not the stereo lol. not too impressed with the 4hp. I like my MT better and the soloX 10" even.. but I'll up the power to what I was running to those before I decide for sure.

I'm running the 12" in 3.5ft^3 it isn't a standard top ***, its a underhung vc paper cone/dustcap configuration. pretty efficient, but won't take as much power as a normal top like a tipro. I'll do another similar box for my tipro top, but I had it in a 6.5ft^3 box and it was fun til I blew one of the coils lol. still would've liked more power though.

good luck with the sale. I just thought I'd talk story about the 4hp lol. late!

ya i used to have the paper cone on this motor before i got the TI cone top recently. seemed more efficen to me too. dan did some wonders with his in his jeep

even though i only have 2.5kW to work with.....this sub has much more potential than this box can give. with a bunch of power dans paper cone 4hp was louder than his 18 mt in a direct swap. i wanna find someone in FL that has an 18 mt (or btl), thatd like to spend an after noon trying our subs in direct swap outs and testing them. tryign our differant boxes.....

im glad youlied the MT though, id lvoe to hear an 18 mt, only heard trey's 15, which definitly pounded on his power bass 3000

Well its for a ext. cab S10 (Sub up) I can fit up to 42 wide x 12.5 h x 17d, I can go deeper then 17" but then i have to move seat up, so maybe 18" at most, keep in mind though, sub facing up. Let me know, if that makes no sense:eyebrow:
