fixing amp

I have a blown amp that i opened up and there is a burn mark on one of the rectangular silver things that line the outiside of the board.

In that picture the things on the top and bottom of the board. What are they and can i buy them anywhere? Is all i have to do take the old ones off and solder a new one on? Its a crappy pyramid amp so im not worried if i mess the amp up i have just always wanted to try fixing an amp.

What you smoked was a MOSFET transistor. You maybe able to get one at radioshack, if not go to mouser.com and get the same model that you killed.

Is it just taking the old one off and soldering a new one on or will it be more complicated?
