My friend gave me an old Legacy amp he had laying around. Said it wouldn't work :-/

All it says on it is LA300....which must be old because it's not listed on their website.

I got half a mind to play around with it and try to fix it. Only thing that looked like it could be wrong were 4 componites that looked like they had spilled their guts on the board  They are about the biggest parts on the board and I'm wondering if they are caps. There are 4 of them.

Anyone got any tips? Want pics? Know wtf this amo even is lol? I was just feeling kinda cantankerous and wanted to mess with it.

May not be worth fixing, except for a lil experience. Seems like most ppl think these amps **** lol.

They are cylinder shaped and covered by a blue plastic with a grey strip. Elna may be the brand of it. One pai says 2200uF(M). Anothrer pair says 1000uF(M).

Does that uF stand for nanoferads or something like that? Trying to remember some of my old electronic learning that I had a little of.....

Yep capacitors, they get old and the dielectric breaks down and then they puke. uF stands for Microfarads... They are cheap enough go ahead and replace them and see what happens at most your out 5 bucks and some time..
