Fish are less active when the water is colder. No top water yet. Top water is good right in the middle of summertime.

Well, no dinner, but I did have fun catching two nice size large mouth! The pond we started in was really clear and deep, 6 ft to 15 drop off all around, and some shallows.

I got one off a live worm working the bottom, and the other off a little spinner/worm in the shallows. Both were about 14 in and 2-3 Lbs. Wasn't a bad day, and i'm not that great at fresh water yet... Got some time with by lil brother too.

Gonna try out texas rig with some darker worms next time, another guy said he got about 40 1.5 lb+ bass the other day off one haha. Sounds like fun
