So I should probably get an amp then or would say 4x 17-20RMS watt with 60-80MAX watt from headunit be alright?
edit: f it, i'll get an amp. I'm looking around and getting some info on what type of amp. Does anyone have info that comes to mind? I think 4-channel amp. But the RMS of the back speakers is 100W and the front are 45W. how would I do that?

Obviously, I realize that an Eclipse headset would be pretty good but I'm really looking into an SD slot too. Have you ever dealt with Dual? If so, what do you think of Dual XDM6351 In-Dash AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA Player with Front Panel USB and SD Card Inputs has 240W.

OR, I could just do a good headset with USB (then have like a flashdrive)

i ended up going with that headunit you suggested (KDC-HD552U) and the infinity reference series (5.25inch and 6x9) speakers

Thank god you didn't settle on the Dual... get all that installed, then see how you would like some more power perhaps, and start looking at amplifiers.

Will do. I'm sure I'll probably end up getting an amp and probably a sub. I just don't get how, say I get a 400W amp 4 channel, how can I power all the speakers without giving the front 5.25 inch too much power?
