First system purchase, how did I do?

I have purchased the components for my first build. Tell me how I did. I wanted to keep it at or under $1000.00 just for components.

Subs - 3 Resonant Engineering RE8's

Amp - Alpine MRD-M605

Components - Crstal sscs 6

Now I just need to buy an amp to power the crystals, any suggestions?

ive heard the powerbass 4 channels are good for the money, but look into kicker or something similar. shoul give a very clean signal.

Looks nice, especially for the first purchase. It's nice to know that some people do a decent amount of research before they buy something.

Maybe another alpine amp for your comps just to keep it matching? There's a lot of nice amps out there that would fit the job perfectly.

i'm always amazed at why people ask this after they purchase. the possibilities are endless for an amp that will power a set of components. might as well just get a matching alpine amp

Im like you, I asked a lot (probably too many question) and finally ordered everything tuesday of this week. I got a pioneer deh-p780mp, CDT ef-61fg with upgraded crossovers and tweets and a diamond d34004 to run them. Its supposed to be a really nice amp for comps. If you dont have anything when it gets here next week ill let ya know how it does

To keep it matching, I just bought an alipne MRP-F250, I know it's probably not the best amp, but my money is running out. I still have to buy deadening material, amp kits and materials to build a box.

This is all going into a 2006 Toyota Tundra Double Cab.
