First Subwoofer Enclosure

I am building a box so I used the RE Audio calculator. When I typed in the dimensions which are

Width= 29"

Height=15"

Depth=24"

Wood Thickness=.75 (only because its my first box)

Port Width=4.5

Port Length=7

Cubic Feet=3.65

Frequency=33.5 Hertz

Does everything seem correct because when I used the formula on Audioque's website to calculate box size it came up with a different answer(3.96 Cubic Feet).

I have heard that the re calc. is off. I don't know. I use WinISD for simple box design.

Google Torres' box calculator. It's more accurate than the re calc. Also those #'s didn't look right.

Narrow the port width and make it longer from my past desings like that it tends to be peaky

do not use the re calc, its no where near accurate. you will get better accuracy asking a 5yr old to design you abox.
