First Real System. Opinons/Advice

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6201. The only thing I might change is these over the diamonds. I had a set of diamond hex's in 2001 and loved them but I've heard from a lot of people that the quality of their product has diminished over the years. It all used to be made in the usa and now it's made in china I believe. I've heard great things about the image dynamics so I figured I'd recommend them. Either way you have one hell of a first system or any system for that matter picked out.

Thanks guys. I figured I'd so my research first so I wouldnt sound like a complete newb.

IDSkoT designed a box for me and I'm basically in love with it. In terms of rear fill speakers, I do drive my friends around enough so that if they couldn't hear any music they'd probably get annoyed.

I have thought about using an active crossover, something like a RF 3sixty.2, but I honestly don't know too much about active crossovers right now.

This system should knock decently hard and keep me happy for a while.

Nothing Diamond makes now compares to the old days of Eton driver Hex's. Actually the only thing I would get from Diamond are the amps, and even those are iffy. I would look elsewhere.

The new ID comps has better midrange than the older chameleon set. So not a bad recommendation there.

Okay, I'll take a look at em. They seem like a better deal from what you guys are saying.

Edit: What would you guys suggest for a crossover/equalizer? I'm not exactly sure what do look for. I saw the Soundstream MTUBE-8 and thought it was pretty cool but I dont know how it would work in a car audio application.
