That is a broad question. In order to answer that we need to know more about what your doing, what your using, and the application.

i have 2 12 cvrs. they are in the trunk of a toyota camry. im sure tuning the box lower will make the lows lower. but at 35-40 does it just make it louder. for example say if i want to be heard from far away, what would i do?

I smell a troll, but I'll bite. If you are wanting to be loud from far away, it will get you a disturbing the peace ticket.

What are you trying to accomplish here, other than further supporting the stereo type about people having stereo's and being obnoxious? Are you wanting to just be loud or are you wanting to play music and have some sound quality? Yes, in general, there is a noticeable difference going from such a low tuning of 29 hertz to 37 hertz and vice versa. There are alot more factors that come into play depending what what you are trying to achieve.
