just sayin the you go to a triple point event or something you would get owned so bad in that class (wrong class too boot) you wouldnt even like it. im not blaming you it was a good win but was a bs call by the judge http://www.termlab.com go to db drag and them competitor section and read the rules

i looked through that already...but i didn't see where it said car on or off.

since i had 1 battery vs everyone else's half dozen batteries, he let me run w/ my car on. or at least thats what he said ???

Sounds like they were just flying by the seat of their pants, not very experienced with running an event. If you were the only one allowed to run the engine, you had an unfair advantage over the other guys, even the ones with multiple batts. Unless they were running 16v batts (not likely), your single batt system was running a higher voltage (around 14volts). The judge should have realized this.

yea, i have been to a comp with unexperianced people running it

it was all jacked up, but they have gotten alot more proffessional in the last few years

i had to turn my engine off lasttime i competed which is very shitty cause i think the difference berween 12v and 14.4 is a big percentage of watts,

i wanna get a couple 8 volt batteries and series them so its at 16v then see how the amp does

Sounds strange from the judges point of view. Competitions are supposed to be fair for everyone thats why they have certain classes. Who had the meter a local shop or someone from that sanctioned body??

probably not enough cars to fill the classes so they shifted stuff around? only logical reason i see

we have 2 contests going on up here both legit db drags this weekend and the weekend in early august. both in ft wayne if you are intrested its a 5 hour drive. one at the mall the other at chris norris's new shop
