the 99 dollar ryobi plunge router works good too. 1/2 inch shank ftw. skill makes decent tools as well on a budget. the skil worm drive i have is decent for a 50 dollar saw.let the noobs be noobs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif jasper jig ftw! just got one myself. they have cheap routers at lowes that works great. the skill plunge router works great for 89 bux!!
exactly...I don't care how good you are with a jigsaw...nothing beats a clean cut from a router and jig.let the noobs be noobs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif jasper jig ftw! just got one myself. they have cheap routers at lowes that works great. the skill plunge router works great for 89 bux!!
Thats how I do it. It's a lot easier to cut out a good circle if you draw a perfect circle first.just a FYI.... if u plan to use a jigsaw a easier way to get a circle traces out is to
find something around 1" wide and 1/8-1/4" thick put a screw at the end of it right in the middle of the 1" then measure from the center of the screw out for ur radius of ur circle then drill a hole big enough to fit the tip of a pencil through... then just screw the screw in about half way where the center of ur circle is and trace out ur circle
