Our city passed an ordinance to have the first ever legalized drag races on city streets for today.. heres some pics and vids of the finals in each class

Drag Race Finals

Class A

2012 Nissan GTR vs 1968 Camaro ( 402 )

Looks like a pretty "industrial" area.Was it done by arm drop,or lights?

i am assuming that the pic of the winners goes abc from right to left,

if so then the car you didnt know what it was is a 55 chevy and the camaro is a 70-72 not a 69

Garfield Ave back in the day ( 60s-90s ) used to be a place that everyone would go do race, and for the most part over those 30 yrs the cops always knew what was going on, but everyone was careful and noone ever got hurt, so they let it be.. But then some 20 yr old ******* got drunk and went down there and raced someother ******* in the rain lost control hit a telephone pole and killed himself.. and that was the end of the drag racing..

But to actually answer your question lol, It was old school arm drop.. elimination

it was the best I could do, I knew I was probably off on the camaro..

they had prelims to determine who went into what class .. Finals winners

Class A - GTR

Class B - 55 Chev

Class C - 70-72 camaro

The daytona should have spanked that camaro.. Something happened and ppl in the bleachers were pissed lol
