Ok so im halfway through my first build, and learned alot of stuff along the way i wish i had known. It is 2 type r 12inch subs wired to 1ohm in my '97 expedition (hate the color of it)

A big thanks to alot of people, but especially shaneb. without him id still be in the planning phase.

parts-express thinks that tan means brown. unfortunately its to much hastle to send it back, if theyd even take it, and im out of cash to go buy some more

test fitting the box in the trunk. fits just perfectly

test fit of bolting the box to the floor. you cant see it but there are wooden pieces underneath each side to hold them up.

the box bolted in with the carpet in. the wood will be carpeted over

box from the back

haah yep. thanks for it again! luckily when your not paying attention, the brown box blends in decently

yea first time carpeting. im going to clean it up when everythings installed. im going to carpet over the supports also, so they blend better

oh yea, and how i held the boards down was using a U bolt through the 3rd row chair mount location. no drilling required!

i like how your holding the boards then, it worked out... but deff get some carpent on them, and next time paint the inside of your port black

yea i was going to, but i had extra carpet and no paint and wanted to finish it then. ugh. i need to learn patience

yep. one thing i learned doing this, was think about where you put your terminal. I just placed mine where it was between the subs, but becuase of that, instead of mounting my amps side by side i have to mount one vertically, making attaching wires a pita.
