first box?

circle looks a little shaky. Edges dont look like they match up perfectly and screw happy? Overall not bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

For a first box it will do. Sub will clean up the rough circle cutout, and too many screws is not gonna make it quieter. Looks good so far and I bet it will sound even better.

You planning on adding some carpet or anything maybe paint or some finish?

Is there anything wrong with too many screws? I've only built a few boxes so the question is genuine.

pzaully

Edit: grats on the box pioneerpimp, though like mentioned I'd give the speaker cutout more attention on future boxes. Have you priced a circle jig for your jigsaw? They can normally be had for pretty cheap, under 20 bucks. Or you can get some really smooth cutouts with a router and jig. My first box, I couldnt even get straight edges correct!

yea i am screw happy, im just conscious about it not being sealed well enough..and i used a saw-zaw for all the cuts, they are a little messed up. i did go too fast

but sub shud cover that up..and im not thinking im gonna carpet it or anything, i like it, im all about the sound also. i hope it sounds good, port said to be 2 inches and it is. i built this from the moe lester sticky. does 2 inches seem right for the port size? i dont really knwo anything about the science of a box

well how much height of port? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

cuz it looks like its 12 inches of port height. so if thats true you have 24 sq inches of port. which will be just fine for 2 cubes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
