First Box Build and carpet...Pics

This is my first ported box, And first carpet job also...It is for a ED19ov.2 18, And is 3.5 at 33 HZ.

That saw workd great! And was very handy since it is so Light....

And A finished Pic

I used the plastic protecter pieces for house walls on the corners, Figured it would add some extra protection to the carpet...Only used on seems.

Also wanted to be a little different, So instead of hiding the screws, I used the caps...I think it looks pretty good.

I carpeted the port about 10 inches in, So it looks pretty good, All i ahve to do is take a razor to the carpet, and cut out the whole for sub!

Didnt run into any problems really, All input will be appreciated!

if you do it right you can hide screws in the carpet.

Unique touches on the box, looks nice. I think the whole point is that he DIDN'T want to hide the screws under the carpet. Those wall corner protectors tend to crack pretty easily though, at least the ones I've seen. I would probably use pro cab corners for protection; maybe something like this:

Yeah I DIDNT want to hide the screwz, I thought this looked pretty cool, And the wall Protectors, are more of a rubber, But yeah I did think they might crack, Maybe I will use those next time, And yeah I know it is still small, But its going in the trunk of a car, that still needs space....
