Hi,
First I would like to start by saying I have absolutely 0 knowledge of car electrical / audio. So please keep the flaming / trolling to a minimum. I am trying to find a complete setup for a 2013 Hyundai Gen Coupe 2.0T. I am looking for something that is around 1k or less preferably and I obviously want the best bang and quality for my buck. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated whether it is a link to a setup or multiple different suggested items or even a brand. Thanks.
The following is for a good, balanced quality system for @ $975.00 And this is about the best budget equipment you are going to find with SQL in mind. The following should be everything you need for the install with the exception of some 14ga remote wire, some 12ga speaker wire and some short lengths of 10ga sub wire
I would focus on installing these in the front. Mount the tweets up on the dash corners, or window pillars on axis to bring the imaging up and out in front of you.
WoofersEtc.com - CTX65CS - Image Dynamics 6.5" Component Speaker System
Amp up the front stage and leave the rears stock on the HU. PPI hit a home run with these little tiny amps, clean and underrated:
WoofersEtc.com - P600.2 - Precision Power 2-Channel 1200 Watt Max Class D Amplifier
About the best deal on a good sub that will take 1000w rms like a champ, shop around for someone to put you together a plan for the right box that fits your trunk for it to get low n' loud.

Again, another PPI home run:
WoofersEtc.com - P1000.1 - Precision Power Monoblock 2000 Watts Max Class D Amplifier
Tap into the front or rear HU L/R speaker outs with this:
WoofersEtc.com - LC2i - Audiocontrol 2-channel line output converter
run 2 sets of these from the LOC to the highs and bass amps Or shorter, depending on where you locate the Lc2i:

Run the 0ga from the battery to the distro block. mount the distro block by the amps. In the fuse selection menu, choose the 150a for the fuse holder near the batt, do a 80a for the distro sub amp side and a 50a for the distro highs amp side:

joo can doo it...do some homework and just do it.
I am just giving you ideas for new equipment with a warranty.. maybe someone else can come up with a better plan for your $
