never mind.. this was my FIRST LOVE.... Sony XM-D1000P5 D-Class , the pentagon amp. man for this to be a sony amp this little thang put out some good power. first time i ever compete, i ran in a MECA show in. i used 2 15 inch audiobahn aw1571t(nothing special) in a sealed box in the trunk and firing subs off the trunk(subs to rear) and did a 138.6db. i was estatic lol. i didnt know anything then tho. but now that i think about it a 138.6 in trunk with a sealed box is a pretty dang good number.

A punch 150 generation 1 from 1989. No doubt. Then my buddy's RF Punch 250.1 Power. It pushed his 2 15 inch Kicker Comp VRs to the max sealed.

thats what i was saying..i paid almost 4k for my audio system and i still believe i would have a problem beating my friends offbrand 12s on his 250.1

Most old school car audio was built in the USA and not in China. Is it better? I still love my first couple of setup (20 something years a go), were they louder than one of my current setups; my 6 Memphis Mojos on 2 Audioque 3500.1D...no they were not. Does that make it better, no.

AQ makes some solid amps for sure. I have came a long way since I first fell in loce with a RF Punch 45/75 now to an AQ 3500.1D. I am looking at getting AQ 20K down the road.
