firing question?

ok i have an ext cab truck and right now my sub is firing up and the port is firing towards my seat. is there any way to make it louder and hit harder by changing any of this or does it really make a difference?

i see alot of people with truks runnin sub up, port to the side, like towards drivers side wall.

try flipping the box in different positions and see whats louder

then tell us whats better.
