FIRE in the Blazer! remote turn on wire

bcae1.com recommends a 1/2A for the remote wire.
Most amps don't take more than a few mA to power up, and the 1/2A fuse - SHOULD protect your remote turn on circuit as they are usually good for a few hundred mA.

Which begs the question - how did you not fry your HU turn on circuit?
I use a 0.5 amp fuse. Works perfectly. Triggers a relay that powers all of the remotes/fans/etc.
