Well my ALternator is on its way

im going to be running my amp at .5 ohm so i needed the upgrade of wire and alternator in order to pull it off succesfully

i got a 6 month warranty so we will see if its true it can run .5 ohm all day. i will probably have it about half way gain

thats what i heard too, and thats why i was thinking about it and i can get it in dual 1.5 ohm VC so i can run more power to it, and it should be fine on my amp after box rise, my SX was like 1.5ohms parralell on my other box, but i hear thats the norm with RE

The HD does not sound that good - lol... its alright.

Will take a buttload of power and laugh though.

Its as loud and sounds better. The R has a much better low end, and will to the ear be much louder.

it just seems like a type-r is too cheap to be louder, and what about SQ of it?

Just like (insert cheaper car) is too cheap to be faster than a farrari.

How does a L7 compare to the Type r in your boxes

It depends, the Type R is better overall, the L7 can sound pretty good, but it has to get quiet. It can get loud, but it needs a big box and loses alot of SQ.

L7 handles more thermally, type R handles more mechanically.

Its really a tossup... in my box, flip a coin, either will probably be too much to begin with.

well i just watch a couple of vids with your TR15 on your site and thats pretty insane the numbers you are hitting, what are that boxe tuned to? the 154 box?

i just dont wanna be disapointed if i get a type-r instead of my SX
