Finding ground locations for the big 3

I'm having trouble doing my big 3 installation because I want to make sure I have the correct places chosen for my grounds.

The second and the third pictures is where I think I want to go from my negative- to chassis. An the first picture is where I want my engine ground. Also, in the sticky it says to go from engine to chassis but I have also heard to go from battery negative- to engine, Which is better? And if engine to chassis is better can I attach it to the same location as my battery to chassis line in the third picture?

If you have bat neg to frame, b/n to body, then engine to body or engine to b/n isn't a big issue. I personally went alternator case to battery, as it was the easiest locations to work with for me.
