don't worry about overpowering the xxx.

it handles nice with 2800wrms.but if you push hard with bass tracks and really low frequencies the sub starts smelling bad.you just have to reduce the volume a bit.maybe 1db.

no!i don't have the car for shows.

for me what counts is the result and that works very nice.

they are tested by car audio and electronics magazine(May 1998)at 2ohms producing 1436wrms each!!!

i tested the output at 1ohm and increased by 30%.we are talking about 2000wrms!!!

i have tested them with 1ohm loads for 1hour of heavy bass full volume without shutting off or any other problems.the amps was extremely hot!!!actually they started smelling after 30minutes.
