Finally got to shoot the .50 cal desert eagle

oh man! what a beast. didnt realize just how big it was til i picked it up. kick was pretty amazing on it as well obviously. alot of fun but not a big fan of how the shell ejects. i got hit in the face at least a dozen times from shooting 30 rounds. glad the range makes you wear eyeprotection. i also shot a .45 for hte first time, a kimber model, realy nice smooth shooting gun. wish i had the money for one. shot a .357 magnum as well and also a .22LR semi auto. pistol, smith and wesson i believe. the .22 was alot of fun. and the .357 was extremely accurate and surprisinly light.

only other hand guns i had shot in teh past were the beretta m9, bc of work, and a glock .40.

im convinced that kimber is the way to go and was amazed at teh accuracy and low kick on it. the .40 was a beretta with a hand grip laser sight. nota big fan of th elaser sight. i guess it takes getting used to. i was alot more accurate witht hat gun without using the laser. the .22 was a s&w LR. also fun bc of how fast and accurate it is, but it kept jamming which was annoying.

anyway all in all alot of fun at the range today. all the guns were my co workers, except the desert eagle. i ended up paying about 45 bucks to use that gun, including the ammo. not sure it was worth it but i guess overall im glad i got that out of my system.

Yea the .50 cal Desert Eagle has quite a kick, and im not to fond of how the shells kick out either. I like the .45, uncle let me fire off his on new years a while back. Smooth with little to no kick, but its loud as hell lol. I would love the chance to fire a desert eagle at some point....

sorry about the lack of pics

my friend i was with has a vid of me shooting it from his phone and a pic. i have a pic of him shooting it from my phone but it sucks. i also have no idea how to upload a pic from my phone. i thought about bringing my camera in, as it was in my truck, but i hadnt really planned on renting that gun today so i really had no reason to bring my camera in.

i really couldnt believe how it kicked. hoenstly, my wrist kinda hurt a little bit afterwards. and the shells to the face wouldnt be appreciated in a real life situation. even with the glasses on it was still a pretty good knock in the face.
