Is that 1/2" OSB? Or is it thicker?

the box is a huge concern. The wood is weak, the measurements are off, I can see gaps which will cause leaks, and you probly iddn't even tune it did you?

The box looks like it will work for a while, MDF Would be a better choice, but for 0 bucks, hell, y not just use it till u can get osme cash or want to build another, just dont turn her up fully, there is a chance the box could litterally come apart causing eye dmage, ive herd from someone actually having this expierience.

yea, i know whatcha mean but this is just until i get another L7, then i'll get another box that'll hold both of them together ... i THAUGHT i could've fit 2 of those box's in my trunk but i guess 3 cubes is way bigger than i thaught it was //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

yeah sure is 1/2" ! Not ripping on you or anything just why go to the trouble of making a box that isnt gonna be up to par with an L7?

Unless you want to do an "in the trunk build" I would suggest not buying another L7, The box is just going to be to big.

so you dont think ill be able to fit 2 L7's in my trunk ? i really doubt this single L7 will satisfy my needs ... but i guess ill just have to wait and see when its all done and over with... but i think i'd be able to fit another L7 , mayby make a 4-5 cube box to hold both L7's with a single slot port that'll give each L7 2 cubes to work with

im gonna guess thats 7/16 osb. That is the standard as far as building houses. They use 7/16 for walls, the roof, etc, and use a 3/4 variation for floors, but this stuff has tounge and grooves.

Back on subject, building that box was a complete waste of time. Make sure you take a video of it when you turn it up for the first time.

Well if thats a 3 cube box....and it barely fit, a 4 cube box is going to be larger, It can be done, your just going to have to build the box in the trunk

well the main thing is the box is just to wide ... there is actually a lot of empty space behind the box , but its just to wide to fit back there , so i could actually make it a little less wide but increase the depth and i should be able to squeeze in an extra cube or 2

Good luck with that box. I don't know if the screws are going to hold your sub in for that long...
