Finally got my sub (12" SS RL-p); ghetto install is temporary...

my rcas did the same thing to my tv //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif was a bish to put back. but it still comes out

Yeah it pissed me off because I lost one of the little red washers that is behind the terminal for the "Left" inputs. So there are two white ones and only one red one. Oh well, it isn't seen when the RCAs are plugged in, but again I'm kinda OCD and knowing it isn't there bugs me, especially because the friggin Monster RCAs were so tight they yanked it out. I had no problem with the sub RCAs though, so it kinda baffles me.

I guess I will have to do that...do you have tools? I'm going to be doing an IB setup within the next couple of weeks. I just have to order all my sound deadener. I will need a hand with the rest of my build...

Thank you thank you! I will be going active with the comps pretty soon here, so it is nice to have the 5ch running everything. I can't wait until it is all finished. Then I can just swap out comps and subs at my leisure. I will probably stick with this sub for a while, but I really want a pair of RL-i 8s. Then I might try 4 Tang Band 8s IB. Then I also want to try 2 DIYMA 12s IB. Not sure what else I want to try after that. I'm looking at the Alpine Type-X Pro and Ref comps to try out as well. I really like the sound of Scanspeak stuff, so the Type-X's might be the cheapest way to try them out.

Hahaha^...random post, but yeah they work pretty well, but they only last a few months before they dry out. We started putting dates on them when we buy them, so we know how old they are.

Ive seen worse //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

How are you liking the RL-P?

I miss mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Kinda wish I still had them

I'm loving the RL-p. Gets pretty low. And decently loud in my little car off only 400-500w. Blends nicely with the front stage. Doesn't pull to the rear hardly at all. I know it isn't the worse install, but trust me when you guys see it all done, you won't believe it is the same equipment and car.

Going to start re-wiring my speaker wire and RCAs tonight. Should I just add pics here? If so, will one of the Mods move this to the Build Log section please? I forgot we had that...
