Finally decided to register!

Hey all I have been lurking for a long time and just now decided to register and start posting. I have a decent bit of knowledge on car audio at this point and am currently planning out my mids and highs setup (likely PRV 8s and supertweets) because my sub was drowning out most of the actual music if I played full tilt...that being said my sub (HDC315) just started getting some coil rub so it's as good a time as any to recone and drop down to 0.5 ohm. Eventually I am planning to wall off my little ford focus with two of these babies so I'll end up back at 1 ohm when I get a more powerful amp.

Oh and PS the validation question still thinks that Obama is our president so some admin may want to change that lol!

Curious if he needed new suspension with all that weight in the back! Mine is already getting pretty low with 2 amps 1 sub in a ported box.

Welcome aboard. 2 15" wall in a small car has potential. Goob (site owner/super-mod) has been MIA for a long time now, anybody's guess when or if any of the features here will ever be fixed.

Thanks guys! Yea I've seen 2 18s in a wagon about the same size as mine so I figured I'll switch up to my trunk space for storage and just get rid of the rear seats since at the moment the back seats are used for storage and the trunk is filled with the sub and amps haha!

Are you externally regulated on your alt? I am really pissed with my voltage at idle and have been told it's due to the pcm managing the alternator like ****.

Nope just an internal regulated DC 270 alt. 15 volts at idle every day.

Lucky haha I see 13.2-13.4 at idle some times and 14.2 at idle sometimes...like every time I pull up to a light it's different lol. Mine is Excessive Amperage 300A. I dont get any more voltage drop than normal (.3-.8 down from charging voltage) so it doesn't seem like it's hurting anything just strange Might be cause mine is an 03 with 150k miles on it lol but I don't really want to pull the alt to send it back to be fitted for an external regulator...well more like I don't want to pay to do so since I can't pull the alt myself.

BTW Just took a look at your youtube and god **** you got some serious flex going on! Good work man!
