I know not many companies offer direct order from the manufacturer, but RE did...

Oh I know Tracy. I just think too many people have taken advantage of the whole buying online, manufacturer direct thing and are overlooking the fact that a majority of the products being sold in this business are still sold out of storefronts.

also dealer prices from what i have heard from other dealers planning to become RE dealers, isnt that far from direct pricing, so that leave teh B&M stores with not much profit margin

if it had been announced and had a "Direct MSRP" which over time became MSRP. sure.

Also, dealers dont sell for MSRP and you can get even bigger cuts if you are having them isntall it...right now if we dont have a dealer near you yo uare paying 1600 for an XXX... no sub is worth 1600 IMO. w7 is inflated way too much and 2 w7 13's can be had for less than the price of an XXX 12 and i would have more displacement capeability.

Wow.................makes sense.
Go thru the dealer,thats what alot of companys do otherwise there would be no need for alot of dealers,you could just call direct and get the same price.Should work out best for the dealers in the long run.

doesnt help their customers at all though, cause their dealers are going to be selling them at these outrageous prices anyways.....why were the first few going for like 650...what did the price of metal go up 38% in the last 2 weeks...pfff, this is horrible...i wont even THINK of buying an RE product for that reason...metal goes up 38%, who are they kidding, what is it a rare metal now or something.
