Finally a vid... Infinity

I apologize for getting bent out of shape... a lot of people on this forum that shit on your thread aim to piss you off...
I'll stop being defensive...
Okay, people that post things for the sole purpose of starting a forum-war aren't held very high in my regard.

Just quickly skim over all my posts. The only reason I'm here is to offer my experience/knowledge/opinions in an effort to help the folks on this board better understand car audio.

Whether or not you like my opinions or take them the wrong way is entirely another story.

It takes a man to apologize -- especially on an Internet forum -- and for that I applaud you.

Just about every post that i've seen you post on has had a negative/defamatory manner or tone to it...be open minded and leave it at that. Positive support is always good no matter what equipment is being ran. (we all had to start somewhere, you wernt born into a audiphile status)

The guy wanted to show off what he is running...why do you insist on shatting on that? If you dont have anything good to say about it, then don't say anything at all. The back button on your browser works rather well.

Along with the Class D amp thing from another thread - I'd love to see you take and beat Richard Clark's challenge //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif....nobody has to date....

...and you refer to yourself as an 'audiophile'....

That salesman vid served its purpose but it was lame. The looked great and had alot of detail but man 10 minutes and I didn't even see a speaker move or one sound made. That dude wouldn't make a good salesman either, anyone can repeat a couple key phrases 10 or 15 times....attention to detail and cosmetic integration. If it was half as long and a little better word usage it would be good but it was a great car now tell him to make a 60 sec vid and let hear how it sounds

Yay for another worthless subwoofer excursion video. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Something about a sub showing movement...just doesn't really excite me -- nor does hearing Lil Jon - Throw It Up over and over again in these videos...

Folks need to start making videos like this to "show off" their equipment:

'Cause any punk kid can borrow Dad's video camera and make a short video of his subs playing -- regardless of what they are.

So, in IASCA you get 10 minutes for your presentation? I know USAC doesn't give that much time.

BTW: He made a nice choice of HU in that car too. That was the Japanese version of the Premier P9. I believe its called Carrozeria over there. He also had the companion processor which was a nice choice. ( of exotic materials.) j/k LOL.

thats the problem with IASCA, its not about how it sounds. If you dont spend a crapload of money on things that dont matter to sound you cant win. I personally think that the best sounding car should win any sq comp. To me all that PR butt kissing is stupid, if the judge cant figure out why something was done then more than likely it didnt need to be done or the show has some horrible judges. I think that the useless money spending shouldnt sway a judge either way.

The best sounding car should win. period.

I can remember when Gary Biggs was just getting good at his trade and won an IASCA national championship, the next year they beat him down. I would guess thinking that he didnt have a good enough name for himself to compete with the people that he was beating. Now his cars seem to dominate as he has now made a name for himself. He does some nice stuff and doesnt go to far overboard and I like that.

Another thing to remember too is that IASCA and USAC judging is just as political as anything else in this world. If a competitor has a name for himself he WILL get favorable scoring. A judge will see its him and remember the last time they heard his car that it sounded amazing and there is NO reason to really listen that hard this time cause its HIM and he always has a nice sound. And bam........they give him the 1st place trophy without really listening that closely to his car.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
