I used to play the final fantasy games for ps1 and ps2 everday after school i wanted school to be over so fast so i could go home and play the games lol, **** the homework ya know what i'm sayin,

yea i used to love ff4 so original with the kid that ran off with the wild animals to learn there speacial moves or the street fighter combo's you had to do in perfect seqence to get the special move out every charter it kept the game fresh.

Thats final fantasy 6 not 4.

Alright, to someones previous comment about beating the ruby and emerald weapon. There is an item for the underwater one to let you fight more than 30 min which is pretty much necessary. Other than that KotR, Mime, and W Summon I think is what did it. A few Phoenix summons too.

As far as best FF out. My vote is for 7 and 2 (first one for SNes) The story for 2 I thought was really could and drawn out and a huge game world with lots of things to do. 7 was an amazing story with good graphics at the time. I've tried to play it again, but my machine messes up because I haven't put an emulator on yet, too much power. As far as the remake of FFVII for PS3, they did the first level as a tech demo for the PS3. There is talk about redoing it, but nothing for certain. There are two groups, the HELL YES THAT WOULD RULE and the You will ruin the game trying to remake it. From what I remember, they are doing a game for PSP that is a continuation of the FF VII story line, but I think it's a prequel having to deal with Cloud and Zack it's called Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. The PS3 has I believe 2 FF XIII's coming out. There is Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus 13 with a mobile version called Final Fantasy Agito XIII.

for some reason i kinda dont want them to come out with the new one, because it might get played out, you know...idk i would also like it to be the exact storyline, from the begining train sequence to the extream end where red XIII gose back to migar many years later..

I have played almost every FF game there is on all the consoles. I have to say that I think that FF7 is overrated! I talk to all these RPG fanatics and they say that FF7 is the best RPG of all time. I really liked FF7 but thought that it was no better than FF8, 9, 10, 10-2, 12. FF11 i don't count as a true FF game because it is strictly online and it doesn't follow the traditional FF Family ties. there is not the same game. FF8 was the first FF game I played and spent countless hours maxing out my characters. I then went back and beat it again and again using the Statagy Guide. I find I like playing FF games this way best. First play without the SG and then with it. I like to max out the Characters and get everything I can

heh ff7 put the RPG genre on the mainstream map. they set the standards to which all rpgs after were to follow. if you think ff7 was no better than 8,9,10,10-2,12, that must mean ff7 is a pretty dang good game to stand the test of time of almost a decade.

in terms of gameplay i wouldnt really rate the final fantasy series as the best. i would much more prefer the BOF4 or Tales of Symphonia battle system. What really drives the final fantasy series are the graphics and the storyline.

i played one of the ff games on the ps2, was bored in about 3 mins so i've never bothered to consider them as a game i would actually pay money for.

in my personal opinion, ff7 is the greatest fantasy game of all time..... 8 was good as well.... (not as good as 7 mind you) 9 was a little out there... u know kinda liked it.. kinda didnt... FF10 (i might be alone on this one) i thot was an AMAZING game graphically, story. everthing that game had it all.... (including a girly hero) but still IMO it goes 7,8,10,2,9... 11 can go to hell.... one of the things that is kinda bugging me about the new FF games is that they are all becoming hack and slash! what happend to the wonderful turn based gameplay that i know and love! i like games like kingdom hearts but thats all in its own.... i want my turn based play for FF titles back!!!
