you're going through mistergrubbs, alright, got it...

there isn't a DD dealer nearby so i don't know how much those subs are but for the Fi, the SSD's are $189 shipped per 12...if you estimate that shipping could be $25 per sub, $164 per sub is a pretty daym good deal...

i know, i don't think you actually read my post...

i'm just saying that if you were to imagine that shipping wasn't free then you would take their shipped price right now, minus the shipping price, and that is the actuall price of their subs

so yes, their subs are a prettym daym good deal...

Or 1 AQ HD315. Tuned to 40hz, it hits the lows like a motherfvcker. I can't even imagine what it would sound like tuned 35hz, absolutely killer. This is one of the best subs in it's price range and it's a **** good bang for the buck with excellent customer service.

The DD's are geared to play a lot lower than thier tuning. Thats why they recommend 40 for a mix of SPL/ with some SQ. I had one tuned to 36 and it hit low, hard and sounded pretty good doing it. AQ have similar specs and will use the same HZ recomendations for tuning
