Yeah, W7 compared to TDX wont even be close. Theres just that distinct sound quality from that W7....it simply cant be matched.

BumpinDoug, are those PPI Pro's I see in your pic in your car? I have a set of the 12" pro's, Ive always heard run them sealed but I see yours are ported (If they are PPI's that is). If that is them, how well do they work ported? Ive run them sealed and like them, but the added output of ported would be nice.

Back on topic: My friend in Denver thinks his 13W7 will take out my XXX 15". But we shall see.. Ill be traveling down there in a few weeks.

yup yup.

No offense, but to say the w7 cannot be matched in SQ is kinda biased seeing as SQ is completely opinionated and if that were true wouldnt the w7 win EVERY comp(relatively speaking)? I know install blah blah but you get my point.

I personally think the mag D2 rapes a w7,I mean tears out it's heart,throws it on the ground,pisses on it,then shoves it down it's throat and craps on it's w7 face.

I kinda agree. I have heard three W7 installs now (I know, thats not 100, but still, its more than one) and after all the 'ohh my God this sub is by far the best SQ sub ever' hype.... I am flat out disappointed. It doesn't soud THAT good. Now maybey these people are just getting crappy installs, but they are all being done by JL authorized installers, so IDK about that.

yeah, i had the same disapointment as u and tyler when i heard them as well. I was expecting much more. In fact i just walked out and laughed at the fact that it costed 950 bucks. Ill seee how the Id Max does when i get it..

bottom out, hmmmm.... you gotta say more about the sub than just the sub itself... what amps, hu's etc.. all taht plays apart in it.. shoot i'd even go to the point as to ask you if you heard it on a burned cd and what was the quality on that.
