Amateur stuff really. I couldn't go MDF with the way I designed it, so I went Fiberglass.
Their is 4 layers of fully saturated Mat (fine woven automotive mat) and on the top, we layed a thick layer of resin (darker brown spots) to try to smooth it out a bit. I need more resin and then I'm putting 3 more layers on the bottom, 2 more on the top, and sanding down. After that, I'm going to fiberglass the inside seam of the Fiberglass section to ensure and inside and outside seal.
The bottom was the part I was displeased with. I need to seal it because it is barely sealed, and also, it has flex whereas the top doesn't.
Any opinions?
